When you are planning you SEO effort be sure and select a domain name relevant to your product or service. This is important not only for ranking but because the domain name is what the customer will remember. If you’re selling Microwaves and the domain name is www.MyTV.com not only will it confuse the customer but it will also confuse the spiders.

Other things you should make sure of when setting up you SEO domain.

1. Domains should registered for 5
2. Dedicated IP’s
3. Domain addresses, city, and zip codes must be valid
4. Administrator email accounts should not be the same for all domains
5. Administrator names should not be the same for all domains
6. If multiple domain extensions are used for the same primary domain name, example make sure your redirects are setup correctly.
